Temple Football Forever 
I am feeling better today about TU's season after yesterday's Kent State upset of BGSU. At least Temple now controls their own destiny for the MAC East.
Me, too.While they deserve a lot of respect for beating us the past two years, they don't deserve so much respect that we let them hang around for four quarters like we did to Bowling Green.Ohio is a team that lost to Ball State and Buffalo.We should beat them like the redheaded and blueheaded stepchild Ball State and Buffalo were. (And that's coming from a redhead who wasn't a stepchild … at least I don't think).
That punch is great, but it's really just one in a long series of Matt Brown embarrassing much bigger defenders. He's done it this season, and he had some great ones last year too. He's small and he runs in a big 1st-round pick shadow, but I really hope he gets picked up somewhere in the draft. There's no good reason he shouldn't be able to make his living in football…even as just a special teams guy.
Hope you're right, Mike. That second division loss cost us , the next 2 are going to be tough. Win out and get another shot at Toledo. Hopefully we should be ready for them. Im not sure if my last comment went through, so Ill repost an aproximation of it:HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!. omg….So I just typed "chester stewart temple" into google hoping to find a story published today about how Daz thinks CS is a great kid, but that we needed to move on at the QB posistion when i found a story published by a certain mike gibson on some obscure blog on feb 5 2007 entitled "The curious case of chester stewart".Allow me to refresh you and everyone else:Temple offered a scholarship to this kid without ever looking at a video.Stewart finished his senior season with stats you wouldn't normally find being produced by a big-time prospect (1,076 yards, 17 TDs).In fact, Stewart attended a camp for quarterbacks last spring and Al Golden liked him enough to offer him a scholarship on the spot.The story, or so it goes, was that Golden looked on as Stewart completed 10 straight passes in a seven-on-seven (no pads, no rush) drill and offered him a scholarship on the spot.I usually like to see my quarterbacks in a real game with a real rush putting up real numbers, like Sto-Rox's Adam DiMichele (2,967 yards, 36 TDs his senior year) but I'm going to have to trust Golden on this one.Stewart accepted.Golden didn't look at not even one image of film.So clearly TFF can talk to us from the past; do u think u could talk to some IT guys and see if the opposite is possible?
nope … i never saw the first post but this one is a good one.in it I said I'd like to see the QB put up real numbers before being offered a Temple scholarship. CS's numbers were real …. real ordinary (and that's generous).Golden's QB problems were the result of Golden thinking he is smarter than he is. In other words, he'll see a QB like Vaughn Charlton throw 7 beautiful passes without a rush on a dime and say "I can make a QB out of this guy." VC was a completely different player under a rush in a REAL game, as sadly, CS proved to be.ADM said: "You want to rush me? Bring it on." And he delivered in REAL GAMES every time. You are going to get rushed in big-time college football today. There's a difference between a guy in a 7 on 7 drill and a gamer. We need a gamer. I think Gerardi is the closest to that we have now and Coyer is thisclose.

I have only seen Coyer in mop up situations this season, and while he can run and handle the option what are his passing skills like. Since Gerardi is a jr. do you see him, Coyer or someone else as next years starter. Know I'm kind of jumping the gun here as we still have this season to wrap up.
