Make it six and add a coaching staff with some imagination and an ability to coach all aspects of a game from time outs, to deciding when and where to run a hurry up, when to protect the qb with extra blockers, roll outs, or screen and draws, and blitzing when it’s clear the other team is passing.

    • when you have offensive line issues (two starters in the last game at Tulane could be missing), got to be imaginative in the protections by using running backs to protect p.j.’s backside (rbs to protect his ribs, you could say) and mix in those quick roll out passes to the tight end to keep the defenses honest. Let us know if you see any evidence of that in the scrimmage. It’s at least something to look for on Cherry and White Day.
