  1. Why did Brock win the starting job? He outperformed the other two. Brock played like an average JUCO, he got exposed.

It may not be much better going from the bad to worse.

Douglas probably provides TU the best chance to win. The OL needs to develop rapidly, stick w/Douglas until they mature.

The defense on 3rd down was impressive.

Reality. It’s over for Stan Dickerson Drayton and TUFB if they don’t beat Navy on the road. Utah St will be the only winnable game. ESPN forecasted the Owls as the underdog for every game. And, that was before the nightmare in Norman.

Another 3-9 or worse will make it so easy for Fry.., he must be licking his chops lol. Hmmn, take the HC’s salary and the TUFB line item off the books, puff, like magic the budget just got easier to balance.

What a shame, I feel for the kids.

    • the obvious one to blame here is not Stan Drayton, but Arthur Johnson! It was Johnson, when faced with the challenge of replacing Rod Carey, chose his friend as Head Coach.

how many other schools even entertained the idea of hiring a 19 year Running backs coach and “run game coordinator” rather than a proven qualified candidate!

      • ….and at 2.5 million guaranteed – I mean who does that? highly irresponsible choice. If it had worked out by luck so be it, but it didn’t. We’ll see at Navy though…..

  2. Fify-one ta Tree – now that’s the bad ol Temple football I remember from Dickerson and Bobby daze. You Go boys you Go. End end dis mizzeree

  3. Akron, ranked only 2 spots above Temple in the ATHLETIC pre-season 134, plays at Ohio St today. The Zips are 48.5 points. Let’s see if they can score more than3 points………..

  4. Mike. that’s the easy way out – you must suffer as the rest of us do. And put your pain to print .

    • I didn’t take a vacation in the summer so I’m taking one now. I’ll be back after Brock’s next fumble removes him from the game, which I anticipate being the first quarter of the Navy game.
