The best part about that quote is that it's true!VUFB will do NOTHING to help The Big East. Plus it's looks like that deal is going to fall apart anyway.The Big East really should be taking a long look at inviting Temple back. It would be the best fit on many levels.But I'm still holding on to my "Best Case Scenario" of Temple blossoming under Coach A to the point ear they find themselves as a heavy hitter in the ACC in a few short years……Call me a dreamer but I don't thinks it's as far fetched as some might think.

I came across a poll on ESPN's Big East Blog (http://espn.go.com/blog/bigeast/post/_/id/20029/your-vote-big-east-expansion-candidates) asking which school would be the best choice for the 10th Big East team. Temple is currently trailing, but I'll bet that the readers of this blog could boost them to the top!

Not quite sure how I feel about him bringing his reputation onto campus (of how his dad has been trying to get him recruited since 8th grade, since it made national headlines.) As far as Ben goes, I will be following the numbers he puts up at St. John's … hopefully 2 grand yards and 30TD passes. Those are the kinds of numbers a big-time prospect should be putting up in high school.Those are the kinds of numbers Adam DiMichele put up at Sto-Rox and shockingly inferior numbers that both Vaughn Charlton (Avon Grove) and Chester Stewart (DeMatha) were huge red flags to me.We're not going to be getting a comment on Steve until next Feb (NCAA rules).
