  1. Al who? 'Daz is fun to watch in an interview. Every now and then he gets himself all worked up and has to settle himself down. It just shows the passion he has for the game and the team. I have to admit, when Temple hired him, I was just 'so-so' about him. By mid-season, I was onboard 100%!

  2. I'm sorry, I love Al Golden but your comment "Al Who?" is correct. Al Golden had one door open and was looking to get out of here the day he arrived. Steve Addazio is fully committed to the wonderful mission of Temple University, just like John Chaney was, just like Wayne Hardin was, just like Harry Litwack was . ..This guy is almost more Temple than I am and that's saying a lot.

  3. you gotta love Daz for what he brings to the table everyday…but the jury is still out. He won a bowl game w/Al Golden's players. And, so far, his recruits are no better than Golden's….., BP looked like an NFL star in the game last night against the Lions. made a wonderful catch over the middle on a play called back because of penalty.., just a very graceful athlete…,

  4. I don't think the jury is out on Daz, I think he's a step up from AG (who I hold in very high regard). Daz is a better game day coach, has a significantly better staff (see Heater) and landed a very impressive recruiting class last year. I would like to see him beat PSU and Rutgers out for a few more of the local three star kids but he's heading in the right direction. I think he's going to get a serious test in his first year in the BE and needs to hope the owls don't get plagued with too many injuries. He also needs to get his kids up for a schedule without any real gimmes. If the owls can keep Daz and Heater for a few years I think they can build a very competitive program. Go Owls.
