One of These Position Switches Has Already Been Made

One of these position switches has already been made. Hopefully, the other four will be at least considered. Click on the photo of the flying Khalif Herbin to read.

  1. To do what you propose takes insight and imagination. Does this staff have those attributes? I sure hope so. The coaches need to get everything they can from every kid and if that takes switching the positions of some of them so be it. Brian Broomell, played safety his freshman season because his athletic talent did no one any good sitting on the bench. Besides, kids would rather play, even if it’s a different position than sit on the bench. I wonder if DeLoatch would have played D last season had he not gotten hurt. And boy could the owls have used his apparent pass rushing skills.

  2. great positions changes in temple history: broomell from safety to qb; matty brown from slot receiver to rb come to mind. herbin’s situation reminds me so much of matty brown and I think herbin’s got a higher upside at rb than even matty and i loved matty brown.
