I wouldn’t say Penn State , USC & Bama’s uniforms are boring . I would call their uniforms styles as Classic.

I don’t get the Rutgers’ reference but the uniforms look good, even the gray ones. I am cautioned by the fact the few teams I saw who wore Gray on the TV last year usually finished at the losing end, much like the Confederates in the Civil War. I hope gray is a one-game thing.
George, except Ohio State.Their colors are red and gray. Y’know, style continually changes things like dressing out in gray uniforms. Personally I don’t care for that at Temple.
Let me just say… the video guys killed this one. One of the coolest concepts I’ve seen in regards to a jersey unveil.
I don’t like the new uniforms as much as the old ones, but I’m glad they aren’t radically different. I’m really glad they kept the T on the helmet, as that is my favorite version. Don’t really care for the gray or black, our colors are cherry and white. Ultimately though, I don’t care as much about what we wear, as how we play. Win both the Boston College and Maryland games this year and I couldn’t care less which uniforms we are wearing while doing it. I agree with Mike wholeheartedly, Ohio State, Alabama, and PSU have extremely boring uniforms that almost never vary, it sure doesn’t seem to affect their recruiting.
We have an offensive coordinator who can’t coach his way out of a wet paper bag and new uniforms are the priority? Hopefully Ed Foley’s new title means that Patenaude has essentially been demoted and won’t be calling the plays this season. That, or someone actually sat him down and thoroughly explained what Temple Tuff means.
Ditch the all black. What uniform beat PSU? That will remain the all-time best.
UA captured the long history of TU uniforms. The epaulets and pants diamonds pay tribute to Hardin. The T-on-the-sleeve acknowledges Arians’ years. Temple Tuff evokes the Golden Years. The gray symbolizes Collins southern roots perhaps. There’s a lot going on without being too busy.
