Temple Football Forever 
Great game to say the least! It didn’t start off all that well, but the lads in due time put on a show of football power, on both offence (Simon is the man) and defense. K.C. Keeler was a terrific choice for HC. He’s a proven winner, and he showed why today. So with Howard the next opponent, one that the Owls should beat handily, we should be 2 – 0 when the Sooners roll into town. Great start to a new era of Temple football!
Not only is KC such a great freaking coach, he gives great answers to post-game questions. They asked him about the slow start due to poor tackling by Temple and he mused about the fact that they don’t tackle as much as they used to (back in the day) in camp due to worrying about injuries. He said once the guys got up to speed with tackling, they should be OK. His coaching is 10x better than Drayton and his post-game answers are about 100x more honest.
The way the game started I was grumbling to myself, here we go again? But Keeler (and the OC and DC) coached a great game and Simon looked sooo solid. Nice start to the season to say the least – screw those prognosticators!
