This may sound naive, but we don’t even talk about the academic problem transfers pose, such as credits transferring from one school to the next, do these transfer kids have a higher likelihood of graduating or lower likelihood.
it used to mean something to post the graduation rates of schools. Is that even possible now? With the number of kids coming and going how accurate would the number be?
The NCAA has become impotent. Academics used to matter. Temple lost 10 scholarships on the changover between Bobby Wallace and Al Golden due to NCAA-imposed academic penalties. You won’t find any academic penalties anymore since the P5 has leaving the organization hanging over its head.

The ACC will turn to Tulane, Memphis, or USF?
Memphis definitely. Rebuilt LIberty Bowl, remained competitive in the two sports that mean anything through multiple coaching chances and has acceptable attendance. Tulane’s stadium might be a little too small and USF has had major attendance problems, like Temple.
Ha! Yesterday was April Fools Day
I remember those days when we used to publish April Fool’s stories. Now 365 days are April Fool’s Day and the perpetrator of the joke is the P5 and the victims are the G5.
Looks like McDowell is going back to Montana, really don’t know what to make of that with regards to the situation with TUFB
I do. You can walk around Center City Missoula without fear. Got to look over your shoulder 24/7 at 10th and DIamond.
Some kids can handle urban. Some like rural. Almost all of the places Clifton was at scream rural. Here’s the deal, though. He probably has a better chance to earn the starting spot at Temple than Montana. His departure forced Montana to grab Fresno State backup Logan Fife and Logan is a really, really good player. Watched him throw for 323 yards and three TDs when the Fresno starter went down.
